How to add new user to the Fingerprint Reader


  1. Click on [Menu] button.
  2. If have at least one administrator, you will have to authenticate with the fingerprint or password to get into the menu.
  3. Use [Up]/[Down] buttons to select “User Management” and press [OK] button.
  4. Use [Up]/[Down] buttons to select “Enroll User” and press [OK] button.
  5. Use [Up]/[Down] buttons  to select how you want to enroll employee.
    1. If you want to enroll employee with fingerprint, then select “Enroll FP” only;
    2. If you want to enroll user with password only, then select “Enroll Pwd”;
    3. And if to enroll employee using both fingerprint and password, then select “FP & Pwd”.
    4. Note that if you enroll chose fingerprint and password, then employee would be able to use either of the two which means that employee might not use the finger to register and hence ignore biometric functionality of the reader
  6. Press [OK] on the next screen to enroll new employee
  7. Enter employee’s ID using a numeric pad and press [OK] button to save it.
  8. Enroll your employee:
    1. If chose fingerprint option in Step 5 then ask your employee to put their finger on the sensor and repeat it 3 times.
    2. If you chose password option, then you will be asked to enter 4 digit password for this employee 2 times.
    3. If you chose fingerprint & password option, then ask your employee to put their finger on the sensor 3 times and then enter a password.
  9. Press [OK] button to save.
  10. If you want to add a second fingerprint to the same employee, press [ESC] button.
  11. Make sure that employee id is the correct one and press [OK] button and repeat steps from Step 7.
  12. When you are done enrolling current employee, if you are enrolling several employees at the same time, you can press [OK] button and repeat same thing for new employees from Step 6.
  13. When you are done enrolling all employees, press [ESC] button several times until you exit to the main screen.
